Many, many trees and vegetation can be cut down and mulched up by Texas Hydro-Ax Services but many, many of these trees and vegetation will grow right back. We are a licensed herbicide company and we utilize every tool available to us to eradicate these nuisance trees.

Texas Hydro Ax Service the truth of the matter: We sell herbicide services but we tell all our Clients, the vast majority of the time, Herbicide is not necessary nor is it beneficial. It is actually more cost effective, with better results just to mow or brush hog your property frequently.

Our Texas Hydro Ax Services, along with our herbicide service, can eradicate Poison Oak and Poison Ivy.

Cactus should be treated AFTER Texas Hydro Ax Services has mowed it down to nothing. Then it will grow back. When it reaches 6 to 10 inches and then treat it. If you try JUST provide treating it with herbicide, where is as is, more than likely you will only partially kill the plant and the dead plant along with the still live portion will still be there.

OR we can scrape the cactus off, haul it to one place and mulch it up or haul it away.

It will still grown back and need the above described treatment.

So, mulch it down, let it grow back a small amount ... then herbicide.

Mesquite and Huisache (weesatche) work the same way. EXCEPT treating with herbicide and the time of the year you can kill it is very limited (about a 6 week window). Plus it will take a minimum of 3 treatments and then the chemical companies will guarantee no more than a 70 to 80% kill.

So what we recommend to our clients is it would be best we mulch the mesquite and huisache down and then we keep it mowed for you.

Mulching and mowing it is the best bang for your buck.
