Forestry Mulching IS hydro axing. Hydro axing is the original name. Forestry mulching was added later as a way to define a lot of what hydro axing is. As we hydro a it we forestry mulch it. We can also mulch and or eat up vegetation already down.
In some cases, Forestry mulching trees that are already on the ground, can be too big for our mid size machine. Other issues: may be it's been sitting for awhile it may compact and can be either difficult or slow to mulch.
The first process that happens, with downed trees, is it actually gets harder. This hardening process continues for about 12 months. After the 12th month the trees then start to truly rot and decay.
So it's best to have our Texas Forestry Mulching Service take the trees down and then mulch them right away. If they are already down if it has been less than 3 months they are harder than when taken down but they are probably still mulchable.
But call us and let us help you decide if we can handle the already downed trees.
